Andre’ Cotten

Andre’ was born and raised in Madison, Mississippi. Upon graduation from high school, he enrolled at the University of Mississippi. He double majored in English and Public Policy Leadership. While a college student, Andre’ was also inducted into the University of Mississippi Hall of Fame. As a student leader, he was also elected to serve as the Senior Class Vice President and was appointed to serve in the Associated Student Body’s Cabinet.
Following graduation from the University of Mississippi, Andre’ volunteered with Americorps for a year in Jackson, MS. As a volunteer, he assisted a small non-profit with educating marginalized youth about financial literacy and entrepreneurship.
Afterwards, Andre’ attended the University of Mississippi School of Law where he graduated with honors. While a law student, Andre’ served on the Dean’s Leadership Council and was a member of the Trial Advocacy Board. Andre is licensed to practice in Mississippi and Maryland.
Before starting Main Street Law, Andre’ has acquired nearly a decade of experience advising financial institutions on regulatory compliance, risk, and operational issues. As the son of an accountant and entrepreneur, Andre’s practice centers on his passion for helping small businesses to thrive and for families to feel secure in their plans for all stages of their life.
